Cassia - Remote - Part Time

Are you an experienced Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) living in Minnesota looking to support RN Directors of Health Services in Assisted Living Senior Communities by working in a remote, on-call or part-time role? Are you knowledgeable about the processes and regulations for Minnesota Assisted Living sites? If you live in Minnesota and if you answered “yes,” we want you on our After-Hours RN team at Cassia! In this RN After Hours role, your primary job is triaging calls from clinical staff for emergency situations. 

You must have Director of Health Services experience or Assisted Living experience to be considered for these roles.

There is a remote, part-time role working:
Weekend 1: 6pm to 10pm Saturday & Sunday
Weekend 2: Off
Weekend 3: 7pm to 7am Saturday and Sunday
Weekend 4: Off

There are remote, on-call roles available that can cover any shifts Monday - Friday (5pm to 7am) or Saturday and Sunday (7am to 7pm, 7am to 3pm, 6pm to 10pm, or 7pm to 7am)

These positions can also work 7am to 5pm on federal holidays. 

Starting Pay: $36 / hour

You will have the opportunity to pick up shifts or increase hours if another After-Hours RN leaves.

In this role, you will be required to become licensed in IA, ND, FL and CO, too and get a TB gold blood test. Cassia will pay for these expenses and give you a cellphone, laptop, monitor, mouse, and keyboard to use.

Registered Nurse (RN) skills and requirements:

  • Must have a current Minnesota RN license and be in good standing.
  • Ability to come to the Edina, MN corporate office for 1 day of training and an annual March meeting and 1-5 days of training at a Cassia site near you based on experience.
  • Prior RN experience required; must be comfortable with resident care processes in AL setting and/or long-term care.
  • Must have Assisted Living experience.
  • Director of Health Services experience preferred, but not required.
  • Be responsive and knowledgeable to earn trust from Assisted Living staff, residents, and families. 
  • Must have strong communication, organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Have experience with electronic medical records, possess a high comfort level learning new technology programs, possess excellent internet connection
  • Self-starter with a desire to be a part of our RN Triage team that delivers the continuity of care during after-hours.
