Lake Ridge Care Center - Buffalo, MN - Full Time

Lake Ridge Care Center, a 5-star, 56-bed facility, is currently seeking a Full-Time Cook/Culinary Aide to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents.  If you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in a team environment, this position is a great opportunity to make a difference in our residents' lives.  This is a Full-Time position offering generous benefits, career development and a $4,000 bonus!   

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working a varied scheduled including weekends. You will work as a cook on weekends and as a culinary aide during the week.

Cook Hours:  10:30am to 7:00 pm on Friday and every other Saturday and Sunday
Culinary Aide Hours:  6:00 am to 2:30 pm (6 days in a pay period)
 

What does a Cook/Culinary Aide do?

  • Deliver exceptional service to residents by providing fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
  • Prepare and assist cooking all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
  • Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
  • Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
  • Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
  • Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
What does a Cook/ Culinary Aide require?
  • Prior restaurant or healthcare experience preferred, but not required. We'll train you!
  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills.
