Fargo Elim - Fargo, ND - Part Time

Fargo Elim, is hiring a Part-Time RN Clinical Education and Retention Specialist to join our team! This is a Part-Time position working Day hours.

RN Clinical Education and Retention Specialist responsibilities:

  • Set up interviews for applicants according to Hiring Manager’s need
  • Complete reference checks as needed
  • Help support recruitment and retention – analyze Retain and employee communication to support adjustments and improve retention, partner with recruitment and provide hands-on support to ensure timely processes and increase community specific recruitment activities as needed.
  • Work with Retain and follow up on all new hires, make face to face contact a minimum of weekly with all new employees as a touch point
  • Supporting employee communication – emphasizing utilization of Retain, helping facilitate town hall/dept meetings as needed
  • Assist with Facility Orientation monthly – teaching the nursing part including the skills part i.e. lift transfers, hand washing, N95 testing (hood testing), Blood draws, etc.
  • Work with nursing leadership to organize and conduct yearly skills lab for all staff as assigned and participate in survey prep/survey process and any other all staff meetings necessary over the course of the year.
  • Other duties as assigned.

RN Clinical Education and Retention Specialist and requirements:

  • Registered Nurse in good standing in North Dakota
  • HR, benefits and payroll experience preferred
  • Prior TCU experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and processes.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems, UKG/Workforce Dimensions experience preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, numerical abilities and computer skills.
  • Positive communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and demonstrate flexibility.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
