Harmony Gardens is hiring On-Call Trained Medication Aides (TMAs) to join our team in our brand-new building in Maplewood, MN. We offer on-the-job training! Join our 4-star rated campus today!

Our new campus opened in December 2022 and is only 2 miles away from Maplewood Mall, beautiful parks (Hazelwood and Harvest Park), and a variety of dining options. Our new state-of-the-art senior living community includes independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and long-term care options.

There are On-Call positions available working varied schedules.

Shifts: Days (AM), Evenings (PM), and Nights (NOC)

TMA/ CNA responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Harmony Gardens policies. 
  • Review and follow a written care plan.
  • Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure on new computerized software.
  • Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls, feeding and helping residents to the bathroom.
  • Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
  • Complete some work as a CNA.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
TMA/ CNA skills and requirements:
  • Must hold current, valid TMA/CNA certificate in the state of Minnesota.
  • Must have completed a minimum of 1,000 hours as a CNA.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
  • Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
