Valley View Village, a Cassia community, is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-kept environment for residents, staff, and visitors. As a Maintenance Technician at Valley View Village, you will complete routine maintenance and repairs throughout our senior living campus, both inside and outside the building. Responsibilities include basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC support, and general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of prior maintenance experience, be dependable and self-motivated, and able to work independently. Experience in a healthcare or senior living environment is preferred.

Position Type: Full-Time 

Shift:  8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.
  • Implement and schedule a preventive maintenance program.
  • Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff.
  • Follow-through on projects with little supervision.
  • Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job-related instructions.
  • Keep detailed reports on ongoing and completed projects.
  • Complete snow removal.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of prior maintenance experience.
  • Experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC and/or floor care preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
  • Must be available to work on-call as needed.
  • Able to perform repairs both inside and outside the building, including basic carpentry and plumbing.
  • Able to use common hand tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill, etc.
  • Ability to assist with general building upkeep, including painting, replacing light bulbs and filters, and assembling/disassembling equipment or furniture.
  • Strong communication organization, and time-management skills.
