Accounts Receivable Consultant
Cassia, a nonprofit, senior living organization, is hiring an Accounts Receivable Consultant to join our growing team! Based at our Edina, MN home office, you will enjoy a welcoming environment with supportive leadership and a friendly team. You will be responsible for the billings of Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Assisted Living (AL), Home Health, and Adult Day Care for the various clients we serve. In this role, you will strive to meet high standards by maintaining timely billing, staying abreast of all changes, and analyzing financial information.
Our ideal candidate has more than 5 years of experience working in a business office setting for SNF and AL, and experience with billing claims on UB04 and HCFA 1500. In addition, the candidate will have experience working with the general ledger and reconciling balance sheet accounts. This person will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have excellent communication and customer service skills. The AR consultant will also have proven analytical and problem solving skills. Experience with Point Click Care and/or Matrix software preferred
Position Type: Full-Time, Benefits eligible position. This is a telecommuting position that will require some travel.
Wage Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually depending on experience
Accounts Receivable Consultant Responsibilities:
- Communicate and work cooperatively with government entities.
- Work with various clients to fulfill their requests.
- Complete monthly billings outsourced by Centers.
- Accurately complete and send claims for Medicaid, Medicare A&B, Hospice, MSHO products, LTC insurance, coinsurance, Medicare Advantage & various other insurance payers.
- Complete proper follow-up on billings.
- Analyze accounts and rebill claims as needed.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Complete monthly consultant reports.
- Travel to various locations to train or work with staff, as needed.
- Billing of private pay statements.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
- 5+ years of experience working in business office setting for SNF and AL.
- Experience with billing claims on UB04 and HCFA 1500 for SNF and AL for all payers.
- Knowledge of MN and SD payers and learn other states as payers, as needed
- Must be willing to learn new computer systems as work requires.
- Ability to discuss financial issues with residents/responsible parties.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees.
- Ability to offer best practice advice to all levels of the company.
