Registered Dietitian
Castle Peak, a senior living community in Eagle, CO, is currently seeking a Registered Dietitian to help our residents experience independence and dignity within a loving community atmosphere. In this role, you will collaborate with our on-site leaders and culinary team to use your clinical expertise to develop a plan for each resident to help achieve their goals. Additionally, you will be a part of an established team where your clinical knowledge and critical thinking will be an asset.
Position Type: Part-Time, benefit eligible position working 10 to 16 hours per week. Primarily remote position.
Shift Available: Day
Wage Range: $35 - $42 per hour

Registered Dietitian Qualifications:
- Coordinate nutritional care of patients and patients by completing nutritional assessments, MDS’s and care plans.
- Conducts a nutrition assessment for patients at nutritional risk per facility policies and procedures
- Develops and implements an individualized plan for nutrition intervention based on nutrition assessment and evidence-based standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in meetings and/or rounds
- Experience with electronic charting, the Nutrition Care Process and writing PES statements to provide appropriate documentation for the plan of care
- Works cooperatively with food service staff to ensure conformance to diet prescriptions
- Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients’ protected health information
- At least one year of acute care dietitian experience OR heavy in-patient clinical internship rotations
- Participate in care planning meetings, as required
- Provide nutritional counseling and education for patients and family
- Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards
- Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with electronic charting
- Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulation
