Culinary Supervisor Weekends

Meadowview of Clive is hiring a Culinary Supervisor who want to work in a new, state of the art kitchen. As a Culinary Supervisor at Meadowview of Clive, you will be preparing meals to order, exploring recipes, and providing top-notch communication and service to residents and guests at our senior assisted living community while managing staff. No Late Nights!

Position Type: Full-Time

Wage Range: $20 - $23 /hour depending on experience

Shifts Available: 
Friday - Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Location: 3300 Berkshire Parkway, Clive, IA 50325

Culinary Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional service to residents by providing fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
• Prepare and cook all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards. This will also include feature/specials and grill service.
• Supervise weekend staff
• Observe and report on resident change of condition or changes in ability.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Participate in meetings and required training to maintain regulatory standards of food service at the community.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

• 1 year of prior supervising experience required.
• 1 - 2 years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen required.
• A passion for cooking.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instruction.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with others.
