Program Assistant Adult Day

Open Circle of Heritage Park is hiring a Program Assistant to join our adult day center team! As a Program Assistant at Open Circle of Heritage Park you will assist members with personal cares and daily activities while helping to create an uplifting, engaging atmosphere. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with older adults, including those living with dementia. Position Type: Full-Time

Hours:  8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Pay: $17 - $18 / hour depending on experience 

Location: 1015 N 4^th Ave, Minneapolis, MN 

Program Assistant Responsibilities:

• Help each member reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Assists members with activities and personal cares. This includes ADLs such as toileting, personal hygiene, showers, etc.
• Prepare, implement, clean up, and evaluate assigned daily programs for members. Daily programs include activities such as table games, arts and crafts, word games/ trivia, music and more!
• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all members, families, and staff.
• Perform additional tasks as needed. 

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) experience required.
• Experience with elderly and/or disabled persons preferred.
• A compassionate attitude.
