Beautician

Baptist Health & Rehab, an award winning 140-bed care center is hiring a professional Full-Time Beautician to join our team!  In this role, you will be responsible for providing beautician and barber services to residents in a senior care community.  We are looking for someone with a bright and bubbly personality to help make a positive experience in our residents' lives. The operator must hold a valid ND Manager/Operator license issued by the ND State Board of Cosmetology.

This is a Full-Time position working Monday - Friday.
Hours:  8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Beautician responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule appointments for residents with support from our receptionist staff.
• Provide a variety of services to residents which include setting, coloring and perming hair. 
• Cut and trim women's and men's hair and beards.
• Style hair consistent with residents' request and preferences.
• Promote friendly and positive atmosphere in delivery of services.
• Write up a charge slip and return to the business office.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Beautician skills and requirements:

• Able to work with residents in different care settings. 
• Valid ND Manager/Operator license from ND Board of Cosmetology.
• Recent salon experience.
• Ability to have essential care and styling products on hand for customer purchase.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
