Culinary Aide Flex

Park View, a senior care community in Buffalo, MN, is hiring a self-motivated, energetic Full-Time Flex Culinary Aide to join our team! In addition to generous benefits, we are offering a $1,000 Bonus!

This new position is a unique approach to help cover for employees on leave of absences, on scheduled vacations, or other open shifts. You will be working Day and Evening shifts at both our Assisted Living (Park Terrace) and Skilled Nursing Facility (Park View). They are connected to one another. Also, in addition to Culinary Server duties, you may be covering for Prep Cooks as well.

Shifts: 6:00am to 2:30pm and 11:30pm to 8:00pm (have to be able to work both)

Pay Range: $18.78 to $21 / hour depending on experience plus a $2 / hour flex shift differential

What does a Culinary Aide do?

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.

What does a Culinary Aide require?

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. 
• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Selected candidates will be required to pass a background check.
