Trained Medication Aide (TMA)

Haven Homes, a 5-star senior care campus, is hiring dedicated Part-Time Trained Medication Aides (TMAs) to join our team.  This role requires you to hold both CNA and TMA credentials, ensuring you can provide exceptional care and support to our residents.

Located a mere 13 miles from Ridgedale Mall, we are a premier 149-unit independent living, assisted living, TCU and long-term care senior health & living campus that opened in December 2020.   

There are Part-Time (Evening) positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend.

Hours: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm 

Pay Range: $20.06 - $25.00 / hour ($2 shift differential for evenings)

What does a TMA do?

• Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Haven Homes’ policies.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Review and follow a written care plan.
• Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure on new computerized software.
• Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls, feeding and helping residents to the bathroom.
• Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as requested.

What does a TMA require?

• Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Must hold current TMA certification in Minnesota.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
