Westhaven, a senior care community, soon to be managed by Cassia, is hiring Laundry Aides to join our dedicated care team. This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success. As a Laundry Aide at Westhaven, you’ll help ensure our residents always have clean, fresh linens and clothing. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to a comfortable, welcoming environment for all who call our community home. We offer training, a supportive team atmosphere, and opportunities to develop your skills in a stable healthcare setting.
Position Type: Part-Time working varying hours including weekends and every other holiday
Shifts Available: Days 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Location: 112 W 4th St, Boone, IA 50036
Laundry Aide Responsibilities:
Launder, sort, and fold all linen used by residents and facility.
Deliver laundry to residents’ rooms and linen storage areas.
Maintain a clean working environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Laundry Aide Qualifications:
Prior laundry aide experience preferred but not required. We will train you!
Work with a diverse population of older adults.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
