As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Heritage Commons, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate is a skilled and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to enhancing the lives of older adults. Position Type: Part-Time, benefit eligible position working 24 hours a week

Wage Range: $32 - $35 / hour depending on experience

Location:  350 Van White Memorial Blvd, Minneapolis MN 55405

Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
  • Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
  • Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
  • Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a client's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
Nurse Qualifications:
  • Current MN LPN License required.
  • Homecare experience preferred! 
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
