Park View Care Center - Buffalo, MN - Part Time

Park View, a 5-star rated, 123-bed care center, is hiring a reliable Part-Time Painter/ Maintenance Worker to help maintain our beautiful campus. We offer generous benefits, employee discounts, career growth and much more!  

In this role, you will perform plumbing, carpentry, painting and a variety of other craft work in the maintenance and repair of the facility and equipment. 

This is a Part-Time, benefit eligible position working 8 hours a week (either 8 hours in 1 day or 4 hours split into 2 days). Employees get a food discount of $3 per meal during their shift. 

Pay Range: $23.80 - $29.20 / hour depending on experience.

Maintenance Worker responsibilities:

  • Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff.
  • Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.
  • Implement and schedule a preventative maintenance program.
  • Follow through on projects with little supervision.
  • Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.
  • Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.

Maintenance worker skills and requirements:

  • Boiler's license a plus!
  • Prior experience in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work preferred.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
  • Must be available to work on-call as needed.
  • Able to make repairs inside and outside of building.
  • Able to use basic hand tools.
