In this role, you will coordinate information and provide administrative support to our team to ensure our residents and visitors have the best possible experience. Our ideal candidate has ICD-10 training, a knowledge of medical terminology, must be a TMA, and prior experience as a Health Unit Coordinator is preferred.
 

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position 

Shift Available: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Wage Range: $21.46 - $24.06 / hour depending on experience

Location: 730 2nd St SE, Milaca, MN 56353 


Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Responsibilities:

  • Enter physician’s orders with high degree of accuracy.
  • Schedule medical appointments and transportation.
  • Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data.
  • Provide ongoing customer service to residents, family members and facility visitors.
  • Assist with inventory and delivery of nursing supplies.
  • Complete other tasks as requested.
Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Qualifications:
  • Must be a Trained Medication Aide (TMA).
  • 2+ years’ experience as a health unit coordinator, or health information certification desired.
  • Must have ICD-10 training.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications.
  • Time management skills for working in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
