Do you like making people smile and laugh? Do you like spending time with older adults? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join our team as a Activities Assistant on the weekends at Stoney Point Meadows.   

In this role at our 95-unit senior living community, you will conduct fun and exciting activities with our memory care residents and help them enjoy their day. We are looking for people who is reliable, positive, energetic, compassionate and patient to join our team.

There are Full-Time positions available working Monday though Friday. Hours:8am-12pm
Pay:  $17hr

Activities Assistant responsibilities:

  • Encourage, support, and assist memory care residents with activities.
  • Assist in implementing therapeutic recreation programs.
  • Interact and assist residents on a one to one basis outside of structured program times.
  • Document activity attendance and degree of involvement.
  • Act as a positive representative at all times.
  • Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
  • Assist Activities Director as needed with activities for AL residents.
  • Perform other related tasks as needed.

Activities Assistant skills and requirements:

  • Prior experience implementing activity programs to residents in a senior living setting preferred.
  • Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude in promoting activities.
  • Creative aptitude for training in arts, crafts, and games.
  • Good communication skills, including ability to give directions to others in a manner that is pleasant and easily understood.
