Leave the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the small town atmosphere at Moose Lake Village! We are hiring a Nursing Department Scheduler to join our compassionate team. We are conveniently located on I-35, 90 miles north of the twin cities and 40 miles south of Duluth.

Our 72-bed facility offering skilled nursing services and memory care to seniors is hiring a Full-Time Scheduler to join our team. This opening in the Health Care Center provides the opportunity to be a part of the management team, and support direct nursing staff. 

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working a flexible schedule. Shift: Day

Scheduler responsibilities:

  • Create bi-weekly nurse staffing schedule.
  • Complete employee time cards in an accurate and timely manner to finish bi-weekly payroll processing.
  • Apply collective bargaining agreement to schedule and short notice staffing.
  • Help with employee engagement programming and assistance.
  • Take after hours call coverage via phone.
  • Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Scheduler requirements:

  • Previous staff scheduling and health care experience a plus!
  • Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to find solutions within guidelines that create win-win situations.
  • LTC and Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Desire to support a direct care team for the older population and others in need.
