Meadowview of Davenport, a Cassia community, is hiring a Housekeeper to join our team at Davenport, IA! This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting.  No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success. Whether you are beginning your healthcare journey or bringing valuable experience, at Meadowview of Davenport you will feel appreciated, supported, and empowered to grow. 

As a Housekeeper at Meadowview of Davenport, you will clean resident rooms, restrooms, day rooms, and other common areas, which may include dusting, vacuuming, washing, and trash removal. Our ideal candidate displays a compassionate, positive attitude, and strives for personal excellence. 

Position Type: Part-Time working a varying schedule Monday - Friday

Shifts Available: Days
 

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

  • Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
  • Maintain facilities and common areas.
  • Daily cleaning and sanitizing of common areas/restrooms.
  • Clean and perform light housekeeping in resident apartments as requested.
  • Clean, vacuum, mop, and dispose of waste in assigned areas.
  • Maintain equipment, custodial closet, and cart in a clean/orderly fashion.
  • Sanitation of Assisted Living Facilities.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Housekeeper Qualifications:
  • Must have full mobility.
  • Is compassionate, motivated, and a self-starter.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience working with seniors and vulnerable adults preferred, but not required.
  • Background check required.
