Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Weekends 1000 Bonus

We are looking for a Part-Time, Weekend Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our staff at Guardian Angels, a senior care community in Elk River, MN! We offer a competitive wage, benefits, & up to a $1,000 bonus! New grads are welcome to apply!

Hours & days are flexible! Can work Saturday or Sunday or Both.

Eligible for Part Time Benefits and $1,000 bonus if you work both Saturday and Sunday. 

Pay Range: $30 - $45 / hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving daily living activities (ADLs).
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with care plans.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and have an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current MN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Ability to provide patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings
