Join our team at Stoney Point Meadows! Our new building is nestled in the quiet countryside meadows of southwest Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In addition to idyllic views, staff enjoy being close to shopping, entertainment, and medical services. Our six-acre campus is located on Stoney Point Road and 16th Ave; easily accessible!
Stoney Point Meadows, a 95-unit senior living community, is hiring Full- Time and Part-Time Dietary Aides to serve residents, employees, and family members’ meals. In this position, you will be able to gain valuable knowledge and experience. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train to right person. In this entry-level position, you will be able to gain valuable knowledge and experience. Our Dietary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by the staff and residents alike. Safety is our number one priority. Staff are provided with personal protective equipment.
Shifts:
Full-Time: days 7am-4pm including every other weekend
Part-Time: days 7am-4pm or evening 4pm-7pm
Pay Rate: $14.00-$15.00hr.

Dietary Aide responsibilities:
- Provide excellent service to residents, staff, and families.
- Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary dietary department.
- Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
- May support kitchen staff with duties such as prepping food.
- Complete additional tasks as needed.
Dietary Aide skills and requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- 1+ year prior serving/dining experience preferred, but not required. We will train you for this position!
- Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to stand for length of shift and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
- Compassionate, positive attitude and team player.
- Selected candidates will be required to pass a background check.
