Cassiaa leading provider of senior care and services, is seeking an analytical Registered Nurse to serve as our Regional Director of Clinical Quality & Performance Improvement. This pivotal role provides clinical oversight and strategic support for our Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and Assisted Living communities. You will lead quality improvement initiative, partner in regulatory compliance and support data-driven action planning for senior living communities in multiple states. This position collaborates closely with site leadership and corporate office teams to align with Cassia’s mission, quality, and strategic pillars.

Position Type: Full-Time

Wage Range: $135,000 - $155,000 annually depending on experience

Location: Cassia 7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, MN 55439 

This position requires traveling to Cassia campuses in four states:
Minnesota: 70% of time is spent traveling to campuses.
Iowa: 6 times a year.
North Dakota: 2 or 3 times a year.
Colorado: 2 times a year.

 

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret quality metrics and data analysis for CMS, State and internal quality data for SNFs.
  • Track and trend metrics for Care Compare, QRP, VBP, MN DHS report cards and guide root cause analysis for corrective action planning.
  • Educate Administrators and DONs on QAPI program compliance and development.
  • Develop and implement education programs for Quality Improvement and RCA.
  • Lead quality initiatives tailored to Assisted Living regulations.
  • Lead discussions and quality related education to align efforts with performance benchmarks for SNF quality meetings.
  • Assist sites in maximizing outcomes from QRP, VBP, and State Pay-For Performance programs.
  • Support DHS QIIP selection and implementation in MN; NFIP in ND; Pay-for-Performance programs.
  • Stay current with CMS and state survey changes and assist during surveys and support RCA and action plans.
  • Review survey concerns, assist with RCA, and support action plans to resolve deficiencies.
  • Report quality concerns to Clinical VP, Regional Clinical, RDOs, and site leadership.
  • Serve as a member of Cassia’s Leading Quality Committee and Quality Board.
Qualifications
  • Current MN Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
  • Leadership experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and Assisted Living.
  • Expertise in CMS, Quality Management (QAPI, PIPs, RCA) and federal/state quality databases.
  • Ability to analyze and act on multi-site clinical data.
  • Proficiency in healthcare software, Microsoft Excel, and related tools.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills related to quality improvement.
  • Valid Driver’s License, car insurance, and willingness to travel.
  • Must be eligible to work in federal health programs.
