Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) ready to make a difference? Hastings Senior Health & Living, a top-rated 72-bed long-term care facility, is looking for Part-Time and Full-Time RNs to join our dedicated, compassionate team!

We are offering up to a $10,000 Bonus + shift differential and scholarships and student loan repayment assistance. We have staff appreciation events, low resident/staff ratios, and a management supported work environment.

We are also hiring for On-Call!

Shifts
Day - 6:30am - 3:00pm - Part-Time 
Day - Every Other Weekend - 6:30am - 3:00pm - Part-Time
Evening - 2:30pm - 11:00pm  - Full-Time 
($2 Shift Differential)
Evening - Every Other Weekend -  2:30pm - 11:00pm - Part Time ($2 Shift Differential)
Night - 10:30pm to 7:00am - Full-Time

Wage: $33.35-$43.37 per hour depending on experience.

Part-Time & Full-Time are eligible for up to a $10,000 Bonus.

Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities:

  • Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care plans for residents.  
  • Recognizes and manages common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory and pain problems.
  • Supervises work performed by LPNs, TMAs, and Nursing Aides.
  • Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
  • Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
  • Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
  • Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Registered Nurse (RN) skills and requirements:

  • Must have a current MN RN license and be in good standing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Skills in problem definition and resolution.
  • Ability to focus all efforts on quality resident care.
