Our award-winning campus, The Pines in Richfield is hiring a compassionate Part-Time Chaplain to join our vibrant and dedicated spiritual care team. In this role, you will provide worship services to our residents to ensure their spiritual needs are met.  

This is a Part-Time, 10 hours a week position. 

Pay Range: 
$30 - $34 / hour depending on experience


Chaplain responsibilities:

  • Perform spiritual care assessments for new residents and patients.
  • Provide one-on-one chaplaincy services with patients and staff on a referral basis.
  • Research and prepare materials to conduct Bible study, resident devotions, and worship.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Chaplain skills and requirements:
  • B.A. or B.S. degree, Master of Divinity degree required.
  • 2-3 years of pastoral care in a long-term care setting or related field experience preferred.
  • Completion of 4 units of CPE (1 unit is a minimum), preferred.
  • Board Certified Chaplain credential preferred.
  • Must be on the roster for ecclesiastical endorsement in the ELCA or Full Communion partners.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills.
